Matt's Last Day, Cenote Eden/Ruins in Coba

Started off the day with breakfast at a coffee shop in Playa del Carmen

Street's of Playa

Brother's and sister's we met while they were walking in service on the highway

On our way to the Cenote

Cenote's are natural very deep pondlike bodies of crystal clear fresh water. There are ton's of them down here. There is actualy an Awake article on them. We snorkeled and saw all kinds of beautiful fish, saw a big turtle swimming below us. These pictures really don't do it justice, plus my lense was kinda dirty and I didn't realize it till later. It was so beautiful, I could have stayed there all day. There was also people doing scuba.

I wanted to jump off but lost my nerve

Then we headed to the the Ruins in Coba, about another hour away

About 150-200 steps

We rented bikes there to see the Ruins, saves alot of time!

Came upon this lady walking her goat's down the street

And her boy walking with a bird:)
And finished the day off with the best burrito's in Puerto Morelos

A Very Good Day

This post is for Saturday. We went in service that morning, and between just Nate and I everyone we talked to spoke English, around 7 people. One young girl in particular, Karen, is living here for 6 months, she's from Mexico City. She invited us in, we started a study in the Truth tract, she was very interested and taking everything in. We gave her a Bible Teach book, and she immediately recognized it because she has one in Mexico City. She said she was going to a church in Playa, but for one reason or another quit going there and wanted to go somewhere else. She took the invitation and wants to go to the Kingdom Hall Tuesday night. We have an appointment at 4:00 Tuesday to start her study in the Bible Teach book. So we are very excited about her:)
At the meeting Saturday these friends were visiting from Missouri. It's so nice when the congregation get's so many visitors:) Nate gave the talk that meeting. Afterward's we went to Pio and Claudia's for hospitality with a few of the friend's. She's know's I'm a bit tired of Mexican food, so we had make it yourself sandwiches on big rolls with hot ham, etc. Simple, and so so so good!
