The Goings On Lately

Haven't had a whole lot going on the last few day's. Been going in service pretty much everyday. Yesterday we worked some of our NH's and Claudia found an English speaking Mexican girl who grew up in NY, but moved here to discover her root's. Had a really great conversation, so we'll see what happens. Also yesterday, Pio and Nate did a Bible Study. Today Matt had 2 of his Bible Studies, and they are going really well. One of them, Pablo, told him that what they talked about was just what he needed to hear today. Last night at the meeting we each had a part. I had the #2, Matt did an impromptu the #3, and Nate had the DVD review. My householder, Hanna, is learning English, it was only her 3rd time to be householder. She did very well. She's 16, and she and her whole family of 8 moved over to English to help:) 

Had a flat tire in service today, and no spare. Pio walked to Sue's and brought this back, a bicycle pump! Since the tires are so small it actually worked great:) Then we went and had it patched. It had a pretty good gash in it. Hoping it will last us till the end of our trip. We noticed the car has 2 different size tires, and 3 different brands of tires. No wonder the ride was never very smooth!!

Such a pathetic little car:) But it's gotten us around!


After service today we went down to the beach with Pio and Claudia. They swam a little, but the waters are so rough and it's really windy from Tropical Storm Sandy, so we went to the pool instead.
And tomorrow service again!! :)
